Challenge

Each electric RV model—Aventura, Weight Distribution, and Tahoe—required a unique app experience, yet the ecosystem needed to feel unified. We had to integrate real-time telemetry, deliver model-specific educational tools, and connect physical QR codes inside RVs to precise digital content. All of this had to work reliably, even in low-connectivity environments, and align with hardware, firmware, and design constraints.

Solution

I contributed to the full-stack development of three mobile apps for Winnebago’s Electric RV division. My work included:

  • A dynamic QR code system linking in-vehicle tags to tutorials, diagnostics, and documentation.
  • A telematics-integrated dashboard for real-time battery status, system health, and alerts.
  • A guided UI for the Tahoe app that visually walks users through RV weight balancing, using animations and warnings.
  • Close coordination with firmware and UX teams to ensure consistent performance across apps, including handling edge cases like offline access or rural coverage gaps.

Result

  • Enabled QR-driven onboarding and troubleshooting, improving user independence and confidence.
  • Reduced support overhead by surfacing contextual diagnostics and help content.
  • Delivered real-time, vehicle-specific insights that made route planning safer and more informed.
  • Successfully shipped three distinct but cohesive apps under fast-paced manufacturing timelines.
